This project was born in 1997 when the baroness Philippine of Rothschild (+) president of the Baron Phillipe of Rothschild group and the president of Concha y Toro Vineyard, Mr. Eduardo Guilisasti got together to create a French Chilean wine.
This way the created Almaviva under the French Chateau concept, which considers an exceptional terroir with a unique storage and a technical first level equipment. This made them a pioneer vineyard that reached international success after its first harvest.

Santa Rita: Premium wines with a great history.
